The Winner of the Contest on August and September Results Was Announced

Nadia Serbenko's work “AUTONOMOUS WEAPONS SYSTEMS: Unresolved Questions of Ethics, Morals, International Law and Geopolitics” was recognized the winner. Part 1. Part2.

The Ukrainian Dimension in Modern Geopolitics” contest announced at the beginning of the year by “Borysfen Intel” for students, graduate students and young academics, continues, although in the summer —early autumn the participants' activity somewhat decreased. The reason is, most likely, the summer holidays, which are so needed after a busy school year. We hope that our young colleagues, restarting studies after a proper rest, do not forget about the contest and will resume our dialogue, including in the form of their entries.

Nadia SerbenkoThe Editorial Board of the Center summed up the August and September results. All in all there were 4 works.

The winner is Nadia Serbenko's work “AUTONOMOUS WEAPONS SYSTEMS: Unresolved Questions of Ethics, Morals, International Law and Geopolitics”, published on the website of the Centre August 28 and 31, 2015.

The author of the work has earned an award, while earlier she was registered as a participant of draw of the main prize for the year in December 2015.

Iryna BondarukThe incentive prize was given to Iryna Bondaruk for her work “Geopolitical Combinations of Capital Cities of the World in the Context of Geopolitical Studies”, published on our website August 17, 2015.

Congratulations to the winners!

We promise that the contestants will not be sorry about the time it took to prepare their works for the contest — “Borysfen Intel” keeps its word. Besides, the other day we had a talk with students and teachers of the Department of International Relations of Lviv Franko University, and saw once again the decent scientific potential of Ukrainian students and concluded that even in our difficult times young people do not succumb to difficulties and do not just dream about happy future of our state, but are trying to do something for it.

The contest continues! We are looking forward to your new works!
