In December 2018, the military-political situation in the Middle East and North Africa remained tense. We offer our readers an analysis of some of the events and processes that took place in Syria, Turkey, Israel, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Libya and Egypt.

The review mainly focuses on the situation in Syria because of the possible withdrawal of American troops from there and the start of the process of President B. Assad's “legalization”.
