Attention of geopolitical analysts today focuses on the Great Britain's future withdrawal from the European Union.
The referendum on the UK's membership in the EU, called Brexit (shortening from Britain + exit), was held in Great Britain and Gibraltar on June 23, 2016.
This change in the geopolitical landscape on the European continent is really disturbing for the members of the European Union (which are losing one of their most powerful colleagues) and the UK itself. After all, the change of the configuration of the EU will affect the further alignment of political forces, both in Europe and in the world.
