18.05.2015. Visiting BINTEL — Corneliu Pivariu, the President&CEO of the Analytical Center “INGEPO Consulting Company”

At our invitation within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Independent Analytical Center for Geopolitical Studies “Borysfen Intel” and Analytical Centre “INGEPO Consulting Company” (Romania), President of the Romanian Center Corneliu Pivariu paid a 5-day visit to Kyiv.

The main event, which determined the content and direction of all C. Pivariu's meetings and interviews with Ukrainian politicians, political scientists and experts, was the “round table” held at the Independent Analytical Center for Geopolitical Studies “Borysfen Intel” on the 22nd of May this year, where the participants discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Romania, between our Analytical Centers, the issue of Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine and the annexation of the Crimea, regional security, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and others.

C. Pivariu also met with the Co-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's Group on Interparliamentary Relations, People's Deputy of Ukraine Maksym Burbak, who is planning an official visit to Bucharest. They discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

Meeting with MP, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on Prevention and Countering Corruption Viktor Chumak, who recently returned from another meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Corneliu Pivariu discussed the prospects of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Romanian guest also gave an interview to the program “The Political Front Line” on the channel “Ukrainian Television and Radio Broadcasting” (UTR) and to “Borysfen Intel”.

In conclusion, our Romanian colleague interviewed the Vice-President of the Independent Analytical Center for Geopolitical Studies “Borysfen Intel” Yuriy Radkovets for the Romanian edition “Geostrategic Pulse”.

Each of the events in which C. Pivariu participated, was interesting and informative. But they all, so to speak, were united by the spirit of the Ukrainian society, which is currently experiencing very troubled times because of developments in the Crimea and in the East of Ukraine.

Visiting Kyiv for the second time in his life, our Romanian colleague Corneliu Pivariu expressed purely positive impressions from communicating with Ukrainians. “I am very happy. I am looking forward to your visit in response”, said Mr. Pivariu, thanking for the professional arrangement of his work, discussion frankness of analysts and Ukrainian hospitality of representatives of “Borysfen Intel”.
